Today was a spectacular market day, the transfer of seasons always shows itself in flowers first to us. Pin Oak, Nine Bark and Smokebush started their parade of autumn foliages to show of spectacular blooms. Dahlias are at their peak, (Dinnerplates are available, advance notice only) colorful and the petal variation.  Arabicum, Pierus Bud, Hybrid Delphinium and Coxcomb are examples of unusual and rich, rich color.  Chocolate Cosmos, Blue Tweedia, and Bronze China Chrysanthemums could work some magic for you too.
