Dozen Roses Styles

Over the years I'll be working with someone new and have to ask "how do you do your dozens?" as each florist has a way of designing 1 dozen roses.  There is the hedge style where all the longer stems are kept at the same length and the greens and filler are lower and around.  This to me looks a little less natural though it does show off the length the best. 

The traditonal style I default to is more of a full rounded style, where there is a peak height in the center and it gracefully edges out.  This has the greenery and the blooming botanicals such as heather, waxflower or genestra.  We only use more premium filler flowers as this is a very important part of the quality of the bouquet. 


The modern version (top picture) is my favorite as it showcases the roses and is complimented by blooming branches and pronounced, more tropical greenery/leaves.  This doesn't have the large full feeling as much but the elements are more simple, thus showcasing them very well.

Boxes

At Valentine's Day it's time to spoil and get clever.  We love the idea of mixing treats into one gorgeous package.  We have the skills to turn a box into a beautiful blooming pillow to show off heavenly scented lotions, a small bottle of champagne or lace through a diamond necklace (you'll have to provide that of course!).  Give us a color scheme, hhmn, pink or red?, some fun content (we encourage creativity) and we'll run with it.
Also, in the store we have origami style boxes to package some simple pleasures in.  Caramels, a scented gardenia bloom and a love note from you would be the prize content.  Come on, get playful!

Nature Craft Botanicals

As unreplaceable as fresh flowers are, sometimes its nice to have everlasting beauty in your spaces.  We offer this eco-friendly floral decor from natural & organic resources. 

Hand crafted in Thailand by artisans, these florals are made from leaves of tropical palms, water hyacinths, and fibers of tropical reeds.  Mostly in the neutral colors of ivory, white and natural beige, there are ferns, sprays of petite blooms, pussy willows and magnolia shape blooms (shown on left).  Sold by the stem or custom designed for you.
